Freedom on 14th Street: An Ordinary Magazine Scoop
Ordinary (a magazine between pale and nothing) will dedicate its third issue to the theme FREE with a focus on 14th Street. Articles explore select instances of unregarded, overlooked minutia on 14th Street from Avenue C to the Hudson River. Ordinary is a fledgling circular with the mission to examine the mundane, unnoticed, and forgettable with a Beckettian-tragicomic voice. Modeled after newsstand publications, the layouts are created digitally but are then drawn out in graphite. The drawings will be xeroxed for distribution at the AiOP festival.
Time, Duration, & Other Cool Stuff You May Need To Know
The zine-style circular will be available at various newsstands and businesses along 14th Street. The artist will replenish periodically throughout the festival.
