A phenakistoscope is a spinning disc that creates the illusion of movement. Phenakistoscope (Live Feed) is an interactive video installation that updates this optical toy. Custom software automatically translates a live feed of any motion into an animated disc. The disc plays as an ever-changing animation on a screen/projection, responding to participants and the landscape.
