Quality of Life Enforcement
Walking in the city, meeting people and thinking out loud. Concerned with how quality of life is interpreted and enforced by NYC authorities, these free agents will look at how the city allows or disallows human activity (including creativity) at different socio-economic levels, and depending on where one comes from.
Each agent has had a personal experience that accentuates how we live in a space/time when the very cultural references for things we want and thus commodify––e.g. ‘ethnic food’, street art, and performance––may become illegal.
